General information and Curriculum Overview
Texas Petroleum Institute wants to provide our graduates with the necessary tools to be prepared for their new and exciting careers. We will be taking our instruction of class very seriously as our overall goal is to make our graduates some of the best at what they do. Thus being said, a final grade must be provided to the student upon completion of the course, honoring both Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
The Drilling Fluids Technology and Engineering Certification classes will be held from 9:00am-5:00pm for the duration of 5 days a week for 4 weeks. Graded homework will be assigned on a nightly basis, and due the following morning prior to 9:30am Tuesday through Friday. Every Friday a test will be given. We also understand how difficult it can be to take a month long class. Arrangements can be made for a split class. Everything you need for the Classroom and Labs will be provided for you.
Having the students accountable for their success will give employers something to look for and also show how committed the student is towards their fields of expertise. Students must pass the course with a grade of or higher than a 75% "C" in order to successfully obtain the Drilling Fluids Certification.
We strongly recommend you attend the four weeks consecutively; however we understand that your current employment may not tolerate this type of absence and options are available. If you are needing scheduling assistance because of your current work schedule, we at Texas Petroleum Institute will offer you the best available options to complete this course.
